Spencerport 2012 Summer/ Fall Events SPENCERPORT MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC CUSTOMERS ~ ELECTRIC SHUT-DOWN - Thursday, May 17, 2012 12:01 AM - 6:00 AM On Thursday, May 17, 2012 Spencerport Municipal Electric will interrupt electric service to all customers. This shut-down, commencing at 12:01 AM Thursday and continuing for approximately six hours is needed to facilitate repairs to our substation. It is essential that power be disconnected for this necessary maintenance. Of utmost importance are people on life support systems. If you or someone you know is not on file with our office and needs continuance of power to keep the support system functioning, contact us immediately. The emergency organizations will be notified and, as always, will be at the ready. We realize there is no opportune time for an outage, planned or unplanned, and whatever time we select is going to affect some customers more than others. We sympathize with your situation and give our assurance that we will try to keep the outage to a minimum. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
